Three Steps From Idea to Mermaid.
Choose your artist, create and approve your design, then send the finished artwork to Mertailor so we can bring it to life.
Step 01
Choose Your Artist.
Start by choosing from our list of artists approved to create artwork for Mertailor Custom Whimsy Tail Skins.
You will work directly with your chosen artist for the design portion of the process. Their artwork fees, payment terms, revisions, and design agreement are handled separately between you and the artist.
Step 02
Create Your Tail.
This is where your mermaid starts becoming yours.
Work directly with your artist to develop the colors, scales, patterns, markings, and details you want in your finished tail artwork. Your artist will guide the design process and prepare the artwork for the Mertailor Whimsy format.
Once everything looks exactly the way you want it, approve the final artwork with your artist before moving on to the final step.
Step 03
Send It to Mertailor.
Once your artwork is finalized and approved, you are ready to order your Custom Whimsy Tail Skin from Mertailor.
Select your Custom Whimsy Tail, provide the required information, and upload the finished artwork supplied by your artist with your order.
From there, we take that approved design and turn it into the Mertailor Whimsy Tail Skin you actually get to wear.
The Artwork and the Tail Skin Are Two Separate Purchases.
Your artist is an independent part of the custom design process and is paid separately for their artwork and design services. Purchasing artwork from an artist does not include the cost of your Mertailor Custom Whimsy Tail Skin.
Once your artwork is complete, you will purchase your Custom Whimsy Tail Skin from Mertailor and submit the approved artwork for production.
